Current Lustlist: Shopbop Dresses FTW

Currently obsessed with Alexis.  Established in 2008 by mother-daughter team Ana and Alexis Barbara, their line's all about high-end womenswear.  Their designs embrace all aspects of femininity, sophistication and elegance, andddd I seriously wish I could buy everything they sell.

Unfortunately, my wallet won't allow that, but I figured I'd share my wishlist with you guys anyways. What pieces are you guys currently lusting for? Are you infatuated with any specific brands or designers at the moment?

Find of the Day: The Blazer Dress ($32)

Pumped to tell you guys all about my latest find from ASOS.  I purchased this fabulous blazer dress a few weeks ago because, well, I thought it was really cute, and it was on sale for $32.  Now, I don't think $32 is super affordable or anything, but I was willing to dole out the moolah for the design.  What can I say?  I'm a sucker for everything menswear-inspired.
I love that this piece is so versatile. I'm wearing it as a dress here, but it conveniently doubles as outerwear.  It's made of 100% polyester and has functional pockets.  For those of you wondering, I'm wearing a size 4, and it fits me well.  I've found that their size 4 is equivalent to 0 or 2.  If you're unsure about sizing, just get 2!  They have a killer return policy so you can return the one that doesn't fit free of charge.
To finish off my look, I carried my YSL crossbody bag and accessorized with a silver statement necklace (courtesy of J Wholesale).  For adorable jewelry on the cheap, check them out STAT. They sell new pieces every week so check back often to stay in the know.
Other menswear-inspired pieces I'm currently loving:

Find of the Day: The Fringe Burgundy Dress

Hey guys, if you love fringe as much as I do, you'll absolutely adore today's find of the day! I discovered this gem while browsing, you guessed it, ASOS.  It was on sale at the time for like $65 (originally  $386) so I copped it quickly.  Since then, the price has (very unfortunately) increased to $123, but I'm sure it'll go down again soon.  I recommend "saving it for later" to keep an eye on the price!
This fabulous dress is made of 100% polyester, but it looks and feels just like suede.  If you want to make a super fashionable statement at a cool event or special occasion, pick this baby up STAT!  The fringe skirt and lace-up front ooze streetstyle star.  It's definitely pricey, but it's a unique and high-quality piece that's well worth the $$$. I own it in size S, and it fits true to size, but if you're worried about fit, just buy two at once.  ASOS offers free shipping + returns so if something doesn't work out, you can just send it back.

NOTE: this is definitely a fall piece so keep that in mind when purchasing it.  You see that half-smile/half-scowl I'm sportin'?  It's because I snapped this picture in 95 degree weather so I'm sweating like a donkey in heat, ha!  In all seriousness though, let me know if you have any questions regarding this dress.  I'm here for y'all so just shoot me a comment or message.  For those of you interested, you can purchase this dress HERE!  If this dress doesn't tickle your fancy, here are some other fabulous options for your browsing pleasure (varying price points):

Lusting for Ankit

I'm pumped to tell you guys all about Ankit today on SS.  They're one of my favorite stores so it's safe to assume that I'm obsessed with pretty much everything they sell.  Their online collection is fun + very in-your-face, and their designs have a ton of personality, which I love.  Here are some of my current favorites:

Their mugs are SO cute!  I seriously want to buy one of each.  I actually own a bunch of others (in addition to the ones pictured above), but they didn't look good in my collage so I omitted them.  My all-time fave is the "Bitches Get Shit Done" coffee mug!  Call me crazy, but it empowers me to drink my morning cup of joe in this BAMF cup. Plus, I like that it's a ginormous!  What do you guys think of Ankit? Do any of these items tickle your fancy?

Find of the Day: My Dream LBD

I'm beyond excited to tell you guys about my latest find!  I bought this dress online last week at Last Call Neiman Marcus for $67 (originally $168).  They were having a huge sale so I took advantage and bought 10 different things.  Yeah, I know, I kind of have an online shopping problem, BUT I'm returning 9/10 because of fit, fabric and all that good stuff.  There were definitely a lot of duds, but in the process, I found my dream LBD so it was all worth it.

This stunning piece is seriously everything.  Way to go, Catherine Malandrino!  You totally killed it with this one. This dress seriously flatters every possible shape and size - think sisterhood of the traveling LBD. Featuring cold-shoulder (aka shoulder cut-outs) short sleeves, a subtly sexy v-neckline, and a twisted bodice with a cascading ruffle.  You'll be breaking necks left and right!
I bought a size 2, and it couldn't fit me better.  The twisted bodice really flatters - it makes my waist look super tiny, and the best part? It's ridiculously comfortable, like I could wear it at home to binge-watch Netflix with my dog while shoveling chinese delivery down my throat. Perfect for all occasions, this dress is a serious must-have.

Now, the price went up to $75, but even so, it's worth every cent.  You can wear it out to an event, date night, work - basically, wherever you want.  Do yourself a favor and cop this while you can - click HERE to purchase!  Oh, and you're welcome in advance.

Top Shoe Picks for July 4th's Blowout

As I'm sure y'all know, 4th of July sales are coming up!  I personally couldn't be more excited for 'em. You guys know me - I'm all about sensible options SO I'm going to make sure I stock up on stuffs while everything's significantly cheaper.  Now, it's no secret that I'm a huge advocate of UKIES shoes.  Lucky for women everywhere, they're offering peeps an additional 40% off + free shipping (!!!!) with code SHOPJULY40 - valid until July 5th. Straight up ridonkulous, right?  Run, don't walk because I have a feeling they're gonna sell out fast.

Before I let y'all browse in peace, I wanna talk a bit about the brand.  They use this really awesome tech that gives max comfort without sacrificing design.  Basically, their shoes have two layers of shock absorbing material: the first absorbs ground impact from everyday walking and the second redistributes the pressure that body weight puts on the shoe.  If you're on your feet all day long, you're gonna want to invest in a pair of these because you'll be able to wear 'em from 9-5 without breaking a sweat.  On top of it all, they're super cute so they transition beautifully to Happy Hour.  I've linked a few of my personal faves for you all today for your browsing.  Happy shopping!

Where to Buy Cute Sneakers under $10

Alright guys, we're talking all about affordable sneakers today on Sensible Stylista.  Personally, I don't like to sport 'em that often because I'm short - I rely on visual illusions to elongate my legs/make me feel better about myself - but I do wear them from time to time to mix things up.  I can't justify splurging because I'm sensible and consider CPW (cost per wear), but I get equally cute sneakers at stores like Danice for less.
Danice sells three types of sneakers: classic tennis shoes, lace-ups, and slip-ons.  I own one of each because, well, they're cute and budget-friendly!  Their lace-ups & slip-ons are currently on sale HERE for $5.99, and their tennis shoes, originally $25.99, are available for $9.99 HERE.  Note: half sizes aren't available, but their shoes run large so round down.
I recommend copping a pair of their tennis shoes and lace-ups!  Their slip-ons are comfy, but they're a bit too thin for my taste.  Honestly, I think you guys would get much better wear out of the first two. I like neutral colors so I went with gray, white, and black, but they carry a ton of other hues/prints so get your browse on STAT.

How do you guys feel about sneakers? Do you wear them on the daily or just when you're working out? Do you prefer splurging on expensive tennis shoes or buying affordable versions like me?

Find of the Day: The Sleeveless Tunic

Hi everyone, I'm super excited to tell you guys all about my latest find today on Sensible Stylista: a chic sleeveless tunic.  This stunning top is available HERE online at The Luk for $34.99.  For those of you unfamiliar with the brand, they sell fashionable office-wear that transitions beautifully from work to play. The founders, Amanda & Aimee, have exquisite taste so I can pretty much guarantee that you'll find something you love.  They get new pieces in quite often so make sure y'all check back to browse their collection.
For my OOTD, I styled a casual everyday look for y'all.  I could've easily dressed it up for work with black pants and closed-toe pumps, but I chose to go with skinny jeans today.  I accessorized with a fierce bodychain (courtesy of AMICLUBWEAR) for some edge and added a pop of personality with animal print pumps.
Let's take a closer look at my bodychain!  As I'm sure y'all know, I've been completely and utterly obsessed with it as of late. For those of you wondering, AMICLUBWEAR sells a ton of affordable versions that are super cute!  How do you guys feel about them - yah or nah?

Find of the Day: The Snake-Print Sweater

I'm beyond excited to tell you guys all about my latest find.  I centered today's OOTD around my new snake-print sweater from Saks Off 5th.  Zero Degrees Celsius' sporty pullover is perfect for everyday wear with its long raglan sleeves and ribbed cuffs, collar and hem.  Pair it with jeans or black pants (like I did below) for an effortlessly chic ensemble.  For those of you interested, this sweater's available HERE for $39.99.  I know it's not super affordable by any means, but keep in mind that it was originally $180.  As always, let me know if you have any questions.  I'm here for y'all all day, every day.
Let's take a closer look at my Urban Originals tote. If you guys aren't familiar with UO, you need to be.  Do yourself a favor and browse their site STAT.  I absolutely love their brand to pieces for more reasons than one.  Firstly, their collection oozes style with ease - each and every one of their products is on point.  I literally love everything they sell!  Second, and most importantly, the brand's PETA approved.  They use fine vegan leathers to craft their products, and they work with very low chemical requirements to be both environmentally and ethically responsible.  Unfortunately, I can't seem to find my bag online, but here's a similar-ish one!

Find of the Day: 5/48's Fur Trimmed Knit Vest

I'm super excited to tell you guys all about my latest find!  I recently purchased this gorg faux-fur vest online at Saks Off 5th for $39.99 - it was originally $110 so I got it for a really good price.  This knit is a serious must-have because it's a wonderful transitional piece.  I've been pairing it with maxi dresses as of late for cute spring-y ensembles.  It obviously depends on where you're based, but in MD (and PGH) it's still kind of chilly so the trim works.  Regardless, you should pick this up while you can because you'll get a ton of wear out of it during the Fall.  The item's a classic so you don't have to worry about it going out of style.  For those of you interested in purchasing this knit, click here.  Lucky for you guys, it's still available in all sizes.

I'm super excited to share today's find with you guys!  I am completely and utterly obsessed with my new sleeveless cardigan from Black Petunia.  Everything about this piece is a do, from the length to the slit back.  Although the model above is beautiful, the photos just don't do the cardi justice! I ordered this in size small, and it fits me perfectly.  If you're into distressed clothing, you'll absolutely love this item.  For those of you interested, this product's available HERE for $31.99 + free shipping. As a bonus, you can get an extra 10% off your purchase with code LAUNCH1.

Find of the Day: The Fringe Tee

I'm super excited to tell you guys all about my latest find: a cute fringe tee from Old Navy!  I picked this baby up last week for $15 (originally $24.94) online.  Lucky for you guys, it's still available - click here to purchase.  The shirt's made of polyester and linen, and it has three bands of crocheted fringe on the front.  If you're a fan of loose t-shirts, this top's an absolute must-have.  It's comfortable and effortlessly stylish.  The fit's boxy though so keep that in mind.  I recommend pairing it with skinny jeans to get optimum balance.  You have a lot of volume on top, so you want to go with something form-fitting below.

I'm super excited to share today's post with you guys because I'm featuring my latest designer find on Sensible Stylista!  I picked this luxe Christopher Fischer poncho up last week at Last Call Neiman Marcus for $110 - there was a special promo going on so I got an extra discount on top of an already-reduced price tag.  Currently, it's available online for $144.50 - click here to purchase.  I know that's still quite pricy, but trust me, you're getting a great deal because it was originally $450.  This sophisticated piece oozes steeze with its slouchy turtleneck, dolman sleeves, and oversized silhouette. It'll become a closet favorite in no time! Pixie Market Picks

I'm extra pumped to share today's post with you guys because I did a fun editorial-like shoot for y'all.  I'm partnering up with Pixie Market for my latest.  For those of you unfamiliar with the brand, you're in for a serious treat.  They carry the most unique designs!  Their entire site is legit - I swear, each and every piece is a gem IMHO.  I'm wearing their Fiona Dress below.  Isn't it beautiful?  As you can see, it's a flowy mini with lace cut-outs and chiffon balloon sleeves.
I only got one piece from their site, but I pretty much want everything they sell!  Here's my wishlist:

Find of the Day: The Cable-Knit Cardigan ($44.99)

Soooo, I know I don't usually blog on Tuesdays, but I had to post today because I found THE most amazing cardigan on sale at Saks Off 5th.  I needed to treat myself - I've been super stressed as of late - so I went to Tanger Outlets to get my shop on.  Lucky for you guys, this sweater's available online for the same price.  As I'm sure y'all know, I'm a huge fan of long outerwear for a variety of reasons. If you need a refresher, refer back to my article, "9 Ways to Hide Muffin Top with Fashion."
This cardigan is currently on sale for $44.99 here - you're getting 67% off since it was originally $139. I promise that it's worth every penny.  I've seen $45+ jackets at Forever 21, and there's no comparison in quality.  You will ooze serious steeze (style + ease).  It's comfortable, cute, and versatile. The fit's on the loose side - think super stylish boyfriend cardi - so size down.  I bought an xs, and it fits me perfectly!  The faux-fur collar doesn't shed at all, and it looks "expensive," which is really important because I'm allergic to all things cheap-looking, ha.
As always, let me know if you have any questions! I'm here for you guys 24/7.  Don't be afraid to hit me up with styling questions.
